Welcome To Sri Sathya Sai College For Women

Inspired by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Divine Mission of providing value oriented and empowering education to girls, Sri Sathya Sai PG College for Women was started in Jaipur in 1973-74. Miss Anima Mukherjee was the founder Principal of this college whose untiring efforts brought the girls to college when girl education was poor in Rajasthan. “When you educate a girl, you educate the whole family" and “Education for life not merely for living" are some of Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings on which the traditions and curriculum of the college are based. College has Commerce, Arts & Science streams at UG level and M.Com, Music, History, Drawing & painting, Garment Production and Export Management (GPEM) at PG level. Geography subject is also being started this year looking to the demand of girls.

College is located in Jawahar Nagar (Delhi Jaipur bypass) in the valleys of Aravali Mountains for which during his visit in 1982 Sri Sathya Sai Baba quoted “Mini Prasanthi Nilayam" (This is a place in Anantpur district in AP where Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s ashram is located).

Sri Sathya Sai College has a merit-based admissions policy open for all. The admissions procedures are designed to provide an equal and fair chance for all suitable candidates to secure admission. Previously UGC has accredited B++ grade to the college.

This is a place where academics, music, singing, dance, sports, public speaking are all encouraged keeping spirituality as the undercurrent. So Much so that even the most introvert students become dynamic. Their potentialities are tapped and by the time the student passes out, she knows in what way she can serve the society effectively.
